First issue of CER'Newsletter

The Supranationalization of the Rule of Law: Concepts, Enforcement and Sanctions

"The Supranationalization of the Rule of Law: Concepts, Enforcement and Sanctions" international scientific conference is organised within the framework of the Central European Academy Professors' Network.
The aim of the conference is to present the outcomes of the research project, which will be presented in the form of a scientific monograph in the spring of 2024. The conference addresses the interpretation of the rule of law, its enforcement procedures, and the sanction systems of various supranational institutions, including the Council of Europe, the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, the United Nations, and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, and, in particular, the European Union.

Polish Cultural Evening

Katarzyna Ratajczak-Sowa, Counsellor and head of the Political and Economic Department of the Polish Embassy in Budapest, visited the Central European Academy on Monday and participated in the Polish cultural evening organized by CEA's Polish interns. The purpose of the evening was to introduce Polish culture to representatives of other Central and Eastern European nations.
