All countries face major challenges to ensure that their health and social systems are ready to make the most of the demographic shift. As people live longer and healthier lives, many continue or need to work beyond the normal retirement age, and hence, there is an increase in labour market participation. Part of the motivation is provided by greater life expectancy, improved health, and changes to pension systems. This paper deals with the changing role fo elderly at the wor
